Ingredients

  1. Knead the dough (not very soft) by mixing all the ingredients
  2. Take a thick vessel and heat the oil for frying
  3. Divide the dough into 10-12 equal small balls and roll small puri's
  4. Insert 2 puris into the hot oil and cook on both sides
  5. Remove and keep it on the absorbing paper and serve them hot with any bhaji

Ingredients

  1. Mix all the ingredients
  2. knead into a soft dough using little water if needed.
  3. Divide the dough into equal balls (around 5-6 balls). Roll out each ball into a flat chapati using dry wheat flour.
  4. Heat a tawa and roast each thepla with oil from both sides till it turns golden brown. Roast rest of the theplas in same way.
  5. Serve hot or cold with curd or chutney or chundo (mango pickel)

    1. Take a non stick pan, heat the oil
    2. Add Urad daal, fry till the color changes to golden brown, remove it and keep it aside
    3. Add Channa daal, fry till the color changes to golden brown, roast it without oil
    4. Mix all the ingredients in the mixture
    5. Grind it and make a coarse powder
    6. Serve it with oil or ghee

    One of the famous Indian Desert. A very delicious sweetdish, the main ingredient being bottle guard

    Ingredients

    1. First and foremost peel the skin of dudhi
    2. Finely grate the dudhi and remove all the water from it by squeezing it
    3. Take a non stick pot, add ghee in it and heat it
    4. Put all the grated dudhi in the hot ghee
    5. Add little whole milk in it and stir continuously
    6. Once the dudhi looks cooked add sugar and color in it
    7. Once all the water of the sugar is burnt and the mixture gets thick enough, grate the maava and add into it
    8. Stir it properly and once the halwa leaves the vessel switch off the gas and keep the vessel aside.
    9. Add Vanilla essence and Elaichi powder into it and stir it again
    10. Apply ghee to the serving dish and pour the halwa in it. Make a smooth layer of it
    11. After it cools a little add the grated almond into it and press the halwa with a bowl make a thin layer
    12. After it cools down completely make small pieces of it, then put the halwa in the fridge for 1 hr and then serve it

    1. Roast the daals and allow it to cool down
    2. Roast dry roast Red Chilies, Coriander Seeds and Curry Leaves and keep it separate
    3. In the same vessel roast Coconut Powder and Asafoetida until the coconut changes color
    4. Grind all the ingredients together to fine powder (small coarse still visible)
    5. Allow it to cool
    6. Store the powder in the airtight container and keep it in the pantry or refrigerator
    7. Serve the chutney powder dry or add a little oil or ghee to make a dipping sauce.

    3. Crush them and keep them aside
    4. Heat the oil, add chana dal , mustard seeds. Roast them for a minute
    5. Add red chillies, curry leaves and asafoetida
    6. Then add rice, coconut, tamarind water, turmeric powder, molaga podi powder, crushed peanuts and sesame seeds powder, salt and cook for few minutes
    7. Serve it hot with curd or any curry

    1. Stir the milk, condensed milk, and dry milk powder together in a heavy-bottomed pan and bring to a boil.
    2. Add the sugar, cardamom, and saffron to the boiling milk; reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring frequently, for 10 minutes.
    3. Remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
    4. Add the pistachio nuts into the mixture.
    5. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds and freeze until solid, about 1 hour an a half. Serve it chilled

    Ingredients

    Instructions

    1. Take all the dry ingredients (Maida flour,soda, baking powder and cocoa) and sieve them in a big bowl 2 to 3 times (more the better to make the cake light ad fluffy)
    2. Take another bowl and mix all the wet ingredients together (hot coffee, butter or oil, milk and then yogurt)
    3. Pour slowly (little by little) the wet batter into the big bowl of dry ingredients
    4. Mix it with hand mixer or if you dont have then spatula or big spoon is fine. Just do not over mix it as the cake will become tough
    5. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degree F or 170 degree C
    6. Grease the baking tray and pour the batter in it and bake it for 25 to 30 mins
    7. After removing from the oven cool it for few minutes and do the cake upside down on the cool rake.
    8. You could frost it or serve it as it is
