Jain Molaga Podi Powder (Dry Chutney Powder) Recipe

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Urad daal
- 1/4 cup Chana daal
- 2 tbsp Moong daal
- 10-12 Whole dried kashmiri red chillies
- 2 tsp Coriander
- 2 tbsp Dry coconut/khopra
- 2 strings Curry leaves
- 1/4 tsp Asafoetida/hing
- 1/2-3/4 tsp Salt to taste
Instructions
- Roast the daals and allow it to cool down
- Roast dry roast Red Chilies, Coriander Seeds and Curry Leaves and keep it separate
- In the same vessel roast Coconut Powder and Asafoetida until the coconut changes color
- Grind all the ingredients together to fine powder (small coarse still visible)
- Allow it to cool
- Store the powder in the airtight container and keep it in the pantry or refrigerator
- Serve the chutney powder dry or add a little oil or ghee to make a dipping sauce.
