Yummy healthy Brownie made of oats and wheat

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a big bowl. If the batter is too thick you can add little milk
  2. Grease the mould with butter and sprinkal wheat flour
  3. Pour the batter and bake it for 350 degree
  4. Prick a toothpick after half n hr to check whether the brownie is done or not (if the batter sticks on the toothpick; keep the batter to bake for another few minutes)
  5. Let it cool down for few minutes and sprinkal seasame seeds and icing sugar
  6. Cut it into pieces and serve

Rasgulla

Rasgulla Recipe

  1. Heat the Milk and allow it to cool; remove the cream formed up (remove the malai from the top)
  2. Add the powdered sugar into water and heat it till it gets completely disolved
  3. Heat the milk again; slowly add drops of lime juice into the milk and stirring. Continue doing this until the milk tears off
  4. The close the gas and strain all the milk in the strainer. Remove all the paneer
  5. Run cold water on the paneer and let it cool down
  6. Take a thick towel, place a smooth cloth on put of it. Now place all the paneer on the smooth cloth and press the paneer to the cloth in such a way that all water is absorbed
  7. Add granular sugar in the paneer and smash it like how you knead a dough
  8. Divide the paneer into 20-25 parts and make smooth balls of it
  9. While making every ball add 2 granular sugar in it
  10. Add all the balls in hot sugar water and allow it to cook on slow gas for 10 mins
  11. Cover the vessel with a lid so that all the vapor remains inside itself (the vapor should not go out)
  12. Close the gas and sprinkle little cold water on the rasgullas
  13. take a big vessel with chilled water in it and put the rasgulla vessel in it to allow it to cool. Rasgullas are ready to serve

  1. Take all the dry ingredients (Maida flour,soda, baking powder and cocoa) and sieve them in a big bowl 2 to 3 times (more the better to make the cake light ad fluffy)
  2. Take another bowl and mix all the wet ingredients together (hot coffee, butter or oil, milk and then yogurt)
  3. Pour slowly (little by little) the wet batter into the big bowl of dry ingredients
  4. Mix it with hand mixer or if you dont have then spatula or big spoon is fine. Just do not over mix it as the cake will become tough
  5. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degree F or 170 degree C
  6. Grease the baking tray and pour the batter in it and bake it for 25 to 30 mins
  7. After removing from the oven cool it for few minutes and do the cake upside down on the cool rake.
  8. You could frost it or serve it as it is

  1. Heat the oil and roast all the ingredients of the Chettinad Masala and keep aside
  2. Soak the Khus Khus and cashew nuts in hot water for 5 mins
  3. Drain all the water and grind all the roasted ingredients along with cashew and khus khus
  4. Take a vessel filled with water and boil it; add tomatoes in it for 20 seconds
  5. Remove the tomatoes skin and seeds inside and finely chop them
  6. Take another non-stick pan ad add the remaining oil in it
  7. Add curry leaves and cabbage, and cook for sometime
  8. Then add tomatoes, ground paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt
  9. Keep cooking until oil starts separating
  10. Mix well and add 1 cup of water, vegetables and milk
  11. Cover and let it simmer for 2 minutes
  12. Serve hot with steamed rice

Chettinad Curry

  1. Soak cashew nuts and khus khus for about 10 mins in hot water and keep aside
  2. In a cooking pan add 1 tbsp of oil and add all the ingredients starting from cumin seeds for chettinad masala
  3. After roasting for 5-8mins on medium flame grind it in a mixture and add the drained cashew nuts and khus khus in it. Add 1/4 cup of water to make a fine paste. Keep the masala aside
  4. Take a big cooking pan and add 1 tbsp of oil
  5. Add curry leaves and cabbage in it and cook for about 5 mins on medium heat
  6. Add the whole tomato in the boiling water for about 30 secs. Remove the tomato skin and chop them finely
  7. Boil French beans, peas and cauliflower on the double boiler (it will take about 5 mins only)
  8. Add the tomatoes, chettinad masala paste, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt.
  9. Let it cook for about 5 mins till you see the oil separating
  10. Put all the other boiled vegetables, 1 cup of water and milk
  11. Cover and allow it to cook for few minutes
  12. Garnish with coriander and serve hot with chappati or rice

  1. Sieve the flour, baking powder, cocoa and salt in a bowl
  2. Add the sugar, milk and melted butter
  3. Add the walnuts and vanilla essence
  4. Grease a (9"x9") sq. tin and spread the mixture evenly in the tin
  5. Sprinkle the brown sugar and cocoa over the mixture
  6. When you want to bake, pour 2 teacups of boiling water over the mixture and bake in a hot oven at 400 degree Fahernite for 20 min.
  7. During baking the cake mixture rises on top and chocolate sauce settles at the bottom.
  8. Cut into squares and spoon a little chocolate sauce on top
  9. Serve warm with vanilla ice-cram
